went to the just opened Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort (i.e., casina) ArtScience Museum this morning

whose main purpose was to add variety to the resort making the casino more socially acceptable; the admission charge ($30 adults) is extremely high; accessibility is also a bit of a problem as parking there is expensive and the nearest MRT station Promenade is some distance away -  you can also park somewhere in the orchard area then take free shuttle bus but I doubt this is much help since parking in the orchard area is expensive too and you incur extra time travelling.

there are three exhibitions on right now; the Silk Road, and Gengis Khan exhibits appeared to be scaled down versions of shows at some Chinese museums using borrowed exhibits, but the Sunken Tang Ship exhibit is one of a kind, even though only a small no. of items are on display; I show photos of three items
